Bringing Foiling And Podium Support To Your Sailing Team
USFoil provides universities and colleges with a turnkey way to introduce foiling to their entire sailing program — from large team clinics to high-performance athlete development to coach development. We supply the boats, certified coaches, and training systems that allow college sailors to experience the future of the sport firsthand, without requiring the program to invest in permanent equipment before it’s ready.
Our approach begins with on-campus or venue-based clinics, where USFoil delivers a fleet of WASZP and wing foil equipment along with USFoil Certified Coaches. These sessions expose the entire team to foiling — combining instruction, demonstration, and hands-on sailing so that every athlete, regardless of background or skill level, can safely experience flight. The goal is to make foiling accessible, exciting, and part of the team culture.
Advanced Coaching & Performance Feedback
Once the foundational clinics are complete, USFoil works with each program to identify and support top-performing athletes who are ready for the next step. These sailors receive advanced coaching, performance tracking, and opportunities to join the Race Teams and Podium Team, gaining access to elite training camps, professional mentorship, and international racing experience through the Class pathways.
USFoil coaches can also accompany and support university sailors at College Foiling Qualifiers, National Championships, and major invitational events, ensuring that top athletes benefit from consistent coaching and performance feedback throughout their season. This structure allows the broader team to enjoy the fun and innovation of foiling, while creating clear advancement opportunities for the most driven competitors.

Activate Existing Resources
If your program already has WASZPs or any foiling boards on site, we’ll send coaches to help you activate them. Our team will work with your sailors and staff to set up the equipment and run initial sessions so your existing foiling assets become fully usable right away.

Schedule A First Clinic
Bring USFoil coaches and equipment to your venue for a tailored introductory clinic. Sailors get structured instruction with USFoil boats and boards, hands-on learning, and their first flights — setting the stage for ongoing foiling development.
Step Four
Apply To Become A Hub
Once your program is ready to take the next step, you can apply to become an official USFoil Hub. Hubs serve as regional centers for foiling, hosting clinics, supporting development, and anchoring the collegiate foiling network with loaner assets.

Podium Support
Supporting Your Athletes In Competing For A National Title
USFoil partners directly with college sailing programs to give coaches the tools, structure, and support they need to guide their sailors toward the College Foiling National Championship. Our role is to strengthen your coaching staff — providing detailed training plans, skill-progression frameworks, and race-specific preparation that can be incorporated into your existing program.
For coaches who are new to foiling, we offer on-the-water support during select sessions to help them understand equipment setup, flight fundamentals, and the key performance factors that matter at the championship level. We also collaborate with coaches on athlete evaluations, seasonal planning, and tactical development so they can confidently lead their sailors through qualification and peak performance.
Throughout the year, USFoil coaches are available at major foiling events to reinforce what your athletes are learning at home — ensuring continuity, momentum, and a unified push toward championship-winning results.
